Warhammer 40,000: Glory in Death is a turn-based strategy game developed by Razorback Developments. Released in 2006, the game offered arena combat in the Warhammer 40K universe. Players assembled teams from various factions and pitted them against each other in turn-based battles.

The gameplay combined team building with tactical combat. Characters from across the 40K universe—Space Marines, Chaos, Xenos—could be recruited. Each had unique abilities that could be combined for synergies. Positioning and ability usage determined victory.

The progression followed mobile collection patterns even before the smartphone era. New characters were obtained through various means, and existing ones could be upgraded. Events and campaigns offered regular new content.

Glory in Death found a niche among players seeking quick 40K tactical action. The accessibility made it an entry point for newcomers to the universe who wanted turn-based combat without the complexity of larger strategy games.
